The Chief Magistrate stood. "This tribunal has made their decision regarding the crime of causing a temporal paradox. The death sentence is hereby" Everyone held their breath waiting to hear the verdict. Ryan looked terrified.
“invoked. This sentence is to be carried out immediately.” There was a huge uproar. Everyone was on their feet yelling. Ryan fell to his knees, crying. He understood the ruling. His major heartache was that he would not be able to say goodbye to Ethan. When he realized this, he broke out in huge sobs that shook his entire body. Adrienne, Anne, Liam, Larry and Colin immediately surrounded him and whispered how much they loved him.
One of the other magistrates jumped to his feet. “That was not the verdict we had agreed upon. The vote was 2 to 1 against the death penalty! You have a vendetta against this man and you are abusing your power as chief magistrate to carry out your revenge!” The chief magistrate just sat there smiling.
“Stop!” the magistrate commanded the security guards closing in on the ring of protection around Ryan that consisted of all of his friends. “I said stop! The majority vote of this tribunal was to commute the death sentence.” Everyone stopped and looked at the magistrate. No one could believe their ears. This was the first time in the history of the Timeline Preservation Council that the death penalty was commuted.
The other magistrate stood. “Ryan Edwards, please stand up.” Ryan complied. “The death sentence is hereby commuted. In view of the evidence presented here and the testimony by Ethan Evans, you are hereby sentenced to live the rest of your life in the past,” she said compassionately. She turned to Duncan and said, “A special beacon is to be constructed to prevent any timeline alterations. However, it is to be constructed in such a way that any form of travel, whether it be temporal or geographic, will be rendered impossible. It is so ordered. This tribunal is closed.”
Pandemonium broke loose as everyone crowded around Ryan to hug him and congratulate him. Ryan’s tears of terror became tears of happiness. He would miss everyone, but the thought of living the rest of his life in the past with Ethan filled his heart with joy. Plus, he knew without a shadow of a doubt that Duncan would turn a blind eye to trips into the past for “observation” reasons. He so couldn’t wait to see Ethan again.
Ethan wandered around his shop aimlessly. He hadn’t had any customers since his return from the future. The temporal coordinates had been set to return him a couple of days after he left for the future. He sighed. He had some projects he wanted to do but his heart just wasn’t in it. Chris wanted so desperately to help him, but he didn’t have a clue as to how. Finally giving up, he locked up the shop and headed for the house.
Opening the door he yelled out to Chris, “The skies are getting dark and I think we’re in for a major storm. We should probably…” Ethan stopped dead in his tracks, totally speechless as he took in the familiar figure sitting on the couch smiling up at him. “Ryan!” He yelled at the top of his lungs as he charged the now standing figure. “I thought I’d never see you again!” He cried out as he was engulfed in the most wonderful hug he’d ever received.
“We have a lot to talk about. Let’s sit down.” Ryan told Ethan everything that had happened to him since Ethan had returned to the past after testifying before the tribunal. “So, as you can see, I’m here in this time period permanently, without a job or a place to stay.”
“You know you have a place to live. Right here with me. As far as a job goes, with your advanced knowledge you won’t have any problems finding one. However, there’s a job you can do right now.” He jumped up, grabbed Ryan’s hand and practically dragged him up the stairs to his bedroom.
Relaxing after an intense lovemaking session Ethan turned over onto his side and noticed that Ryan had a pensive look on his face. “What’s wrong, baby? You have a weird look on your face.”
Ryan slid his arm under Ethan and pulled him closer. “Nothing is wrong; nothing at all. I was just thinking about something. I want you to fuck me.”
Upon hearing something he never expected to hear, Ethan rose up on his elbow to look Ryan in the eyes. “Are you serious? Won’t it freak you out because you were raped?”
“No. This is something I want to share with you because I love you. I’ve never willingly given myself to another man in this manner.”
“You have to know, I’ve never topped before. I’ve always been the bottom.”
“Well, now is your chance. You have to get me ready, just like I’ve done with you,” Ryan said as he pulled his knees up to his chest, revealing the entrance to his love tunnel.
Ethan moved to sit on his heels in between Ryan’s spread legs. Lubing up his fingers, he slowly slid his middle finger into Ryan. Slowly he moved it in and out, taping Ryan’s prostate, causing him to practically fly off the bed. After a couple of minutes, Ethan slid in a second finger then a third, opening Ryan up. Once he felt that he was relaxed enough he lubed himself and slowly entered Ryan. Once the tip breached Ryan’s entrance, he arched his back, closed his eyes and moaned loudly.
This encouraged Ethan to thrust a little harder. He grabbed Ryan’s dick and jacked him in rhythm with his thrusting. Much too soon both men were caught up in the throes of orgasm. After showering and dressing they cuddled on the couch when a wild-eyed Colin materialized in front of them. “We have an emergency!”
